Are you a professional pet sitting business and not a hobby sitter?

Yes! We are licensed, insured, bonded, certified and carry all the necessary permissions required to run a Professional Pet Sitting business in the state of Virginia. Margo is also Pet First Aid and CPR/CPCR trained and certified through PSI (Pet Sitters International).

What does a typical visit look like?

we will take your dog for a walk or spend some good quality time engaging with your cat/dog/pet. We are dedicated and tuned into your pets behavior and needs, no day will be the same. we will reach out to you if we notice any changes or causes for concern we see along the way. (You would be surprised how many things we have caught early with some small preventative measures!)

This all sounds great!  How do I become a client?

you can use the new client button under clients or contact us via email with your location (general is fine), pet info, and the services you are interested in. We use Time to Pet which keeps everything organized and in one place for all parties involved. we can text through there, request services, input pet info, etc. We will also set up a complimentary Meet & Greet to get the rundown as well as a key for your home (if needed) for upcoming services.

What are your last-minute request/cancellation policies?

There is no fee for scheduling last-minute service requests - we will do our best to accommodate all requests, but we do not guarantee availability. if we are unavailable, you can go to www.petsit.com to find other local certified professional pet sitters.

Cancellations made THE DAY OF a scheduled service will incur a 50% fee of the original service price, while the remaining 50% will be credited for future use.

Overnight cancellations made within 2 weeks may incur an additional fee up to 25% of total invoice, we reserved that spot for you and may have turned business away. We understand that things happen, but please understand that we rely on this income, which shifts our whole schedule/availability.

How does payment work?

Payment is due within 7 days after the first date of service - a late payment fee of $15 will be added to invoices that are 7 days past their due date.

You will get an invoice emailed to you through Time to Pet and can pay directly by ACH, credit/debit cards, bitcoin, pay pal, etc..

Note: we claim all income so choose whichever platform works best for you,.

Do you have a referral program?

Yes! If a current client refers a new client, you both will get a $30 credit towards your account after 1st invoice is paid. We love word of mouth referrals, and of course meeting new pets, that’ll never get old and we simply can’t get enough (as long as schedule allows)!

Do you charge extra for holidays?

We work the Holidays so you can have yours! $10/visit or Overnights $20/day

New Year’s day, easter, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
